Edward J. Wartman, licensed in Indiana and Illinois

Ed concentrates in bankruptcy, criminal defense, accident & injury, foreclosures, and real estate closings. Ed grew up in Calumet City, Illinois. Ed graduated with cum laude honors from Northwestern University in 1992, majoring in economics and applied mathematics in the social sciences. Ed earned his Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 1995. Ed recently won a major criminal appeal in NOOR ADNAN SOBUH vs. STATE OF INDIANA, 905 N.E.2d 66 (Ind.App.2009). Ed is licensed to practice before the United States District Courts of Northern Illinois and Northern and Southern Indiana, as well as the Supreme Courts of Indiana and Illinois Ed is a member of the Lake County, Porter County, and Indiana State Bar Associations. Ed is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist, regularly enjoying hunting and fishing. Ed is married and has four children and enjoys his time coaching both baseball and football. Ed has been licensed in Indiana and Illinois since 1995.

Chris Fox, licensed in Indiana

Chris concentrates in transactional law, including wills, trusts, estate planning, real estate transactions, entertainment law, contracts, and general business law. Chris graduated from Earlham College in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy. Chris went on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree at Valparaiso University School of Law in 1995. Chris is the past president of the South Lake County Bar Association. Chris is licensed to practice before the United States District Courts of Northern and Southern Indiana, as well as the Supreme Court of Indiana. Chris has been licensed in Indiana since 1996.

Christopher C. Hedges, licensed in Indiana and Illinois

Chris concentrates in family law, collections, and general law practice. Chris graduated from Indiana University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and political science. Chris earned a certificate of Highest Scholastic Achievement for academic work in 1991. While at IU Bloomington, Chris interned with the National League of Cities, as well as the U.S. Senate Housing Subcommittee and the Indiana Senate. Chris graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 1996. Chris earned honors in Legislation, International Environmental Law and a Seminar on improving local government efficiencies. Chris is licensed to practice before the United States District Courts of Northern and Southern Indiana, as well as the Supreme Courts of Indiana and Illinois. Chris is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and has been a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Indiana Bar Association, American Bar Association, National Lawyers Association and the Indiana State Bar Association's American Citizenship Committee. Chris is married and has two children and enjoys spending time with his family as well as photography and writing about Northwest Indiana issues. Chris has been licensed in Indiana since 1996 and Illinois since 2005.

Christopher A. Buckley, Law Clerk (Not a Licensed Attorney)

Chris assists the various attorneys in their respective areas of the law is currently preparing for the Indiana Bar Exam. Chris is developing his skills as a young associate under the supervision of other attorneys by conducting client correspondence, document preparation, and legal research, working to substantially lower your legal bills. After graduating from Chesterton High School in Chesterton, Indiana in 1998, Chris enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Chris has been stationed throughout the world, and served his country filling billets as a non-commissioned officer in a variety of infantry and support roles. He was discharged honorably after receiving several medals and awards, including The Navy/Marine Corps Medal (of Heroism), The Navy Achievement Medal, The Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, The National Defense Medal, A Medal of Good Conduct, Letters of Commendation, Meritorious Masts, and several regular promotions. He retired as a Marine Corps Sergeant (E-5) after four (4) years of active, honorable service. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Valparaiso University in 2006 with the Cum Laude distinction. He graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law in May of 2009. Chris is currently very active in local politics, and enjoys golf when he is not busy studying for the bar exam.
